Gatsby’s  death was a big deal every news reporter police etc was in the house
People called him a true man
Meyer wolfshiem didnt want to go to gats funeral bcuz he didn't want to get mix up
After gats died it seemed no one cared, or no one wanted to get stuck in what ever he was in, like they knew what was he into

-only people there were gatz, the minister, and nick later were 4-5 servants and a post man and a guy that nick saw once in Gatsby library
- jordan said she was engaged to someone else and nick said he didn’t believe her but acted suprise
- tom told wilson whos the owner of the car was, but he didnt add on he was having an affair with his wife, so wilson created a story of who the person was having an affair with
- tom knew who the person was driving the car but he didnt care so he lied
- nick saw all that Gatsby worked on for daisy, if he even knew to let go of daisy he could’ve focused on himself and none of this would’ve happened

Chapter 8 pg 154-

- he couldn’t sleep, and that nothing happened that he stayed up till four

- he go to Atlantic , he needed to know what daisy was going to do

- gatsby held her for a long silence day, all she wanted was attention so when he left she didnt get it so she left him
- gatsby doesn’t answer the phone
- everything is beginning to die and now that atom is here hes trying to stop everything from dieing like the pool
- wilson is having a hard time processing all this, he repeated”god sees everything”
- everyone is blaming gatsby for the death
1- he was a great man till he hid the death, but now hes dead so he was a good man
2- nick is not honest to himself, he tells himself things to do but he wants to really do the opposite, but he hangs out with dishonest people, because

-The past can not be recreated says nick but gatsby says they can
-Gatsby kisses daisy and talks about that kiss like it was magical and was everything for him

Final Essay

 I was honestly excited yet nervous to come back to school on August 12,2019. This was due to to the fact that i wanted to be doing something after being home and not doing anything for a while, i was nervous to see my teachers and what people id meet, but i really wasn’t looking for education i was tired of the same routine books, quiz, and test. 

       Well as i got in i noticed one thing from all the other English classes I’ve been in, LACK OF BOOKS!! I was confused, then Dr. Preston followed up by presenting himself to us, that day two things stood out to me cussing and giving teenagers an option to get education, i know crazy right. He gave us two options learn by book or learn in a open source, left the room and i was really confused as my class mates, we all looked at each other and got to work and all agreed to open sources, took some convincing on a few people but we agreed. 

       Few minutes later Dr. Preston came back in and we all told him what we choose, open source. He  proceeded to explain to us what open source was, it was a way we would answers some question(s) on a journal but how you actually felt, not how he wanted you to write it but YOUR OWN THOUGHT!! Also we were going to have a blog to post on, again our own thought. 

        A few days past, maybe weeks, but he finally gave us, HOMEWORK, it was memorizing a poem and recording yourself saying it. We actually had about three to four of them through the whole course. I started to procrastinate in my blogs, resume, cover letter, and many more assignments. The whole year was a roller coaster because we didn’t know what to expect at times, sometimes i even thought i was caught up and BOOM something else came up, or like the first day of school giving a choice of how to run our class. 

          The whole semester was a great ride i learned many new words, got better at writing, and became less scared to share my ideas. Im ready to come back from winter break and give it a lot more then I’ve been giving it. 

How did i do?

Self Reliance pt 4

-Self trust is something we are scared of
-a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds
-to be great is to be misunderstood
-its better to be good then act good
-Honor is venerable
•i believe that my little brother is someone who i inspire, usually its when i do something he wants to as well.
-we all have at least  looked around to get answers when we dont have them

We should trust our selfs more to make mistakes

Self reliance pt 3

-No one wakes up to ruin someones day
-we all give in to the bad from other people
-philanthropy- is giving
-conflict isn't easy but truth is great
-men and women donate, just to not show up to the parade
-people pay for being a jerk and are not true to them self
-it’s easier to say yes to peers even though its bad, then do your own thing
-its not quite true to say someone had a unique thing

We should just say f***  it to what people say about us like yess take it in consideration.

Self Reliance pt 2

-They eye was placed where one ray should fall- we choose were to look

-What do is mean when it says, “men is relieved and gay” i understand its happy but by relieve what does that mean

-i can relate to we are ashamed of expressing our ideas

-if we have an idea, do build on it forget about being judged, we should resist people tamping us down

-if we are not giving our 100% then we are not our true self

-children dont care about what they say ask because they dont have consent like us teens

- Teens have a big forest then adult think 

-what is that has people so scared of our own shadows?

I feel like when we, including myself, dont express ourselves its pointless of even thinking about it. Why think of something that can change our life's in a positive way and not building on that thought.
In reality other people and I need to stop being afraid. 

Self reliance

In this section that we have read, i feel like people, including myself, should have the courage and understanding that people well not like our ideas, or accept them. But sometimes our ideas are so big that if we never put them put there someone else well make your idea true and with your idea, they will be successful,WITH YOUR IDEA.

Road not taken

Time investment today that i am doing/making is cutting hair. I just zone out and not worry about anything but the hair. The time investing i am making now to help me achieve my goals in the future is this as well cutting hair, why cutting hair well i will need money to invest my money to become a real state agent and a licensed barber, for all this i will need money which will come out of cutting hair.
